You can put together a cheap home gym that gets the job done
if you buy the essentials. As long as you stick with the proven equipment list
-and stay away from the latest ab-flexor- you can't go wrong.
The following are my 8 home gym must-haves:
1) Dumbbells
Dumbbells are essential for the home fitness gym, necessary
for presses, arm exercises and even a few core exercises. There are many kinds
of dumbbells out there, from the cheap to the boutique. All of which fall into
one of two ty...

Nearly everyone today has been educated on the benefits of
getting regular exercise. Yet still there are an average of sixty percent of
American adults not getting enough exercise, while twenty-five percent of the
population isn’t active at all. Whether this comes in the form of housecleaning
for an hour or strength training at the gym--exercise keeps your muscles
strong, your heart strong, and your body in shape. You may find that having
home gym equipment to exercise on is a great way of ...

Training at home could prove as a good solution for the ones
interested. The effectiveness of this type of training could compare to the one
of working out in the gym, as long as some factors are considered.
The first, and at the same time the most important of these,
is owning the necessary equipment. If, besides this, you also have a partner
who trains with you, the exercises can be as effective as the ones performed in
the gym. Of course, we are talking now about the ideal situation of ...

Yoga has simple and effective body movements that strengthen
one's back, firm the stomach, and redistribute body weight. Yoga exercises
stretch and tone the body muscles. They increase endurance and improve
flexibility.
Yoga Asanas or positions are the best among all exercises

You Can Have Washboard Abdominals And look Great On The
Beach
Can you imagine walking along the beach in you swimsuit with
everyone looking at your rippling six pack.
All eyes jealously admiring your suntanned, muscular physique.
Ok here’s the truth, "there are no easy ways to build
washboard abs"!
But there are some ways that will give you fantastic results
(and some that will waste your time).
It seems as if there is a new "Super Fast Power
Abdominals" gadget on the market every ...

The age old
question when it comes to working out is: should I join a gym or purchase
exercise equipment? Depending on your needs and specific method of working out,
different individuals experience different results with each of these methods.
However, before you rush out and sell your gym membership to purchase thousands
of dollars in exercise equipment or sell your exercise equipment in order to
purchase a gym membership, consider your options carefully. Depending on your
schedule, budget,...

Having an
elliptical trainer as a cardio workout companion pays handsome health
dividends. Improved cardiovascular function, overall conditioning, and healthy
weight loss due to a revved up metabolism, are all part and parcel of the
benefits of an elliptical trainer package.
Although
these machines were primarily developed as a low-impact exercise solution,
elliptical trainers have become superb general fitness tools, as discussed at
Best-Gym-Equipment.com. They offer continuous motion, wit...

December 21st 2010 – Gym etiquette.
Being a trainer, I see an awful lot of people in the gym with little to no knowledge on how to act when you're in someone's facility. I could sit around, and get angry about it. Then let that build up, and then let my anger out on an unknowing victim, or I could give you a heads up on the right, and wrong way to treat a fitness facility. I think I will choose the latter.
Do not clang the weights! Not only will this possibly break the weight stacks if done h... Continue reading ...
